Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Yeseul Kim, affectionately known as Dr. Hazel, is a passionate and dedicated optometrist who brings a strong medical background to every patient encounter. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2019 and gained hands-on clinical experience through rotations in highly medical-focused settings, including the Baltimore VA Hospital, Fanelli Eye Associates, The Eye Institute, and Triangle Eye Institute.

Dr. Hazel is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, staying at the forefront of new developments in eye health and vision care.

Dr. Kim is fluent in both English and Korean, which allows her to connect with a broad and diverse group of patients. Her bilingual skills not only help bridge language gaps but also foster a sense of trust and comfort for individuals who may feel more at ease communicating in their native language. Dr. Kim is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where every patient feels seen, heard, and respected. She believes that clear communication is essential to quality care, and she takes the time to ensure each patient fully understands their treatment options and feels empowered to make informed decisions about their health
